What is CraftCrash?

Welcome to CraftCrash, the creative unconference that’s equal parts professional development and grown-up summer camp for makers, artists, and creative entrepreneurs. 

Spend your days  learning from seasoned peers, swapping ideas with fellow creatives, building meaningful connections in hands-on workshops, and picking up practical tools to grow your business. Spend your nights laughing with your people, making memories, and rediscovering why you fell in love with creating in the first place.

CraftCrash is where you find your tribe, recharge your creative battery, learn a ton, and leave wildly inspired.

Why a Crash? A gathering of rhinos is called a crash, so it only seemed fitting that a gathering of our tiny rhino community would be called one too.

CraftCrash is the perfect event for anyone who runs a creative business or simply has a maker spirit that needs a jump start. Whether you’re a veteran indie crafter, a fine artist, an artsy dabbler, or a dedicated side hustler, you’ll leave feeling inspired, motivated, and connected to a supportive community of creative people.

The best part? You curate your own CraftCrash experience. Want to spend the weekend making things, trying something new, and having a ridiculous amount of fun? Do it. Looking for practical business advice and honest conversations with other creatives? We’ve got you. Want a little of both? Even better.

All of our maker workshops are designed for all skill levels, so you don’t need to be an expert—or even know what you’re doing yet—to jump in and make something. Come curious, come ready to experiment, and come prepared to surprise yourself.

There’s no one right way to CraftCrash. Come for the business, stay for the making, or flip that entirely. Follow your curiosity, invest in your creative practice, and build the weekend you need.

When is it? 

CraftCrash will occur from February 18-20, 2027. 

What is the cost and what does it include? 

For $295, attendees gain access to over 50 workshops with all supplies  and after-hour social events designed to spark connection and collaboration. 

Early bird discounts are available October 1st - 15th. Payment plans are also avaiable at check out. 

When should I register to attend? 

The sooner, the better. This conference can sell out, as we prioritize providing the best experience for attendees—think small group interactive sessions. Early registrants will also have first pick of our engaging hands-on workshops. 

Do I have to attend the full 3 days? 

No, but registration includes access to all three days. Once you secure your spot, you can tailor your experience based on your availability and interests. 

Refund Policy

We unfortunately do not allow refunds, however, registrants are welcome to transfer their registration to another maker.

Home to CraftCrash in February 2027, Woodstock invites makers, artists, and crafters to discover a welcoming community where local businesses, a thriving arts and music scene, chef-driven restaurants, award-winning breweries, and unique shops make it easy to turn a weekend of professional development into a full-on creative getaway.

CraftCrash Spaces 

Workshops, meetups, and activities will pop up in venues all along Main Street, inviting makers, artists, and crafters to explore this vibrant small city.

Lodging

We have secured a block discount at nearly hotels here. Hotels are just a few miles from downtown Woodstock where all sessions take place. Transportation is not provided between the hotels and downtown.

Free parking is available daily downtown.
