Meet Tiny Rhino

Tiny Rhino curates Indie Craft Experiences and produces CraftCrash—the Southeast’s creative business conference with adult art camp vibes.

Designed specifically for artists, makers, crafters, and side-hustlers, CraftCrash blends hands-on maker workshops with practical, community-driven business education. Our goal is to cut through the online noise to deliver practical, usable knowledge in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Our Sell + Learn ecosystem ensures that no creator has to grow alone, providing every creative business the support needed to thrive.

Founder & Chief Rhino

I’m Katrine (pronounced Katrina) — an artist since day one. I’ve followed a winding creative path, consistently creating my own work while developing unique programs for schools, organizations, and communities along the way.

As I built my personal art business, I noticed a significant gap in the South: genuine, practical business support for artists. This realization led me to establish Tiny Rhino, where I can produce thoughtfully curated contemporary craft markets along side professional development opportunities for makers, ensuring that creatives don’t have to navigate their journeys alone.

Now, I pour my so-called 'magic touch' into Tiny Rhino, merging creativity, connection, and a deep belief that artists deserve sustainable, lasting careers.

Why a Rhino?

When Tiny Rhino Productions was just a big idea, rhinos started appearing everywhere — like little signs from the universe. A rhino necktie at a thrift store, a wooden rhino sculpture at a boutique, and then more… and more. Wherever I looked, there they were!

Curious, I did a little digging and discovered that the rhino symbolizes strength, power, endurance, and resilience — exactly the traits our craft business owners need to thrive. And just like that, Tiny Rhino Productions was born.

You know those tiny birds that are always perched on a rhino’s back? Those are oxpeckers. If our new Indie Craft Experience logo feels a little… familiar, that’s on purpose. It nods to those clever little birds as a symbol of the natural partnership between Tiny Rhino Productions and Indie Craft Experience — two forces in the maker business moving together, supporting one another, and thriving side by side. This collaboration also reflects our commitment to professional development for creatives, ensuring we all grow together.

Our Media Kit, featuring exciting opportunities for collaboration with Indie Craft Experience, Atlanta's longest running contemporary craft market and CraftCrash, our professional development conference for makers, will be available soon.
